Various imaging modalities, and percutaneous liver biopsy confirmed the diagnosis of hepatic sarcoidosis. Abnormalities of biliary enzymes improved after the administration of ursodeoxycholic acid (UDCA). In this case, the mechanism of pharmacologic action was considered to be the glucocorticoid-like effect of UDCA.
