First OPO based on a cylindrical nonlinear optical crystal
We demonstrate the first OPO based on a 21.2mm-diameter cylindrical KTP crystal. We obtain a signal wavelength tuning between 1570nm and 1647nm corresponding to an angular tuning of 20.5° with a 1064nm pump.
