For this, an index analysis of the following factors has been carried out: the number of organisations and workers performing research and development; financing innovative activities; advanced manufacturing (nano)technologies in the process brought to the consumer; application of innovative technologies and objects of intellectual property. The integral indicators characterising their changes have been calculated, and the levels of innovative development of the Russian economy have been determined. Then, using the tools of mathematical modelling, a multi-factor mathematical model has been built and tested in real-time that enabled to obtain a high-quality predicted result.
