Research on Integrating Online Learning into Offline Teaching

Online learning has been widely carried out in universities around the world. However, utilizing online learning only can't provide sufficient support for modern education. To deal with that, this paper proposes an IT-based TPFS teaching model, which brings a new online to offline teaching mode. The proposed model sets up a strategy to combine offline teaching and online learning together and makes them play their own strength efficiently thus to improve education quality. The model optimizes the teaching practice into three phases and four steps and develops three IT-based application systems to assist online learning. To show the implementation of the model, we bring up a teaching process of a public course as an example which achieves a great improvement in teaching quality.
