Research on Image Granulation in Granular Computing

Granular computing is a key technology in the field of artificial intelligence, covering all the theories and methods related to granularity, and is widely used in data mining and knowledge discovery. This paper introduces the essence of granular computing, the basic model and its application in image processing in detail. In view of the difficulty in acquiring current image data knowledge, the image processing methods are divided into three parts: image segmentation, image recognition and classification, and other technologies. The contribution of the granular computing model to image granulation in recent years is discussed preliminarily. On the basis of understanding the essence of image granulation, the key technologies of different models in different image processing problems are given.
