PSO technique is designed to control the position and velocity of updating particles till reaches the optimum set. Modified synchronous reference frame theory is implemented to excerpt the reference current waveform. Intensive simulations are conducted based on Matlab/Simulation Tool. Design of shunt active power filter is agree with the proposed results.
