It is important for streaming applications, for verification of quality of service in a network, for selection of the best server for providing improved service and, for sure, it could give a significant positive impact on development of congestion control algorithms for reliable data transfer protocols. There are many algorithms and implemented tools, which provide capabilities for measuring avband. This paper focuses on the improvement of calibrated pahtload algorithm for avband measurements. During this research a new tool for avband measurement called Kite has been developed.
