Researchers have observed high variation in performance during processing of real-life images; therefore, efficient filtering techniques play a vital role in determining the implemented processing algorithm's performance as well as the quality of captured images taken into consideration. Thus, the focus of this study is to discuss various widely used filtering techniques and efficient performance analysis in outdoor environmental scenarios.
