Based on the traditional dipole antenna, a kind of broadband printed dipole omnidirectional antenna is designed by adjusting the size of the antenna arm and the position of the balun. A coaxial connector is added to the antenna model to feed the current. In order to increase the omnidirectional performance, a method of adjusting the shape of the dipole antenna arms is proposed. The antenna model is simulated by using HFSS.
