摘要

随着多核技术的发展,CMP(Chip multi-core processor)中的缓存尺寸越来越大,这是影响功耗的主要因素。如何在不影响微处理器性能的前提下降低功耗是高速缓存设计中的一个重要问题。本文研究了低功耗缓存的相关技术,提出了一种低功耗CMP共享缓存重构方法。首先,通过静态重构分析了缓存重构的必要性。然后在缓存访问期间添加可重构策略。最后给出了实验结果,该方法在节省能耗的同时,性能下降很小。
