Smart Grid Synchronization Techniques with PV Generating System and its Challenges: An Overview of Power Sector in India
In India, more than 70% of electrical power is generated by convention source of energy including fossil-fuel which impact adversely on environment. So, therefore, to reduce environmental concern, renewable source of energy generation, such as solar power generation, wind power generation, biogas, geothermal and many more are playing tremendous role. In this paper, integration of smart grid which is the management techniques, used in power sector to manage electrical power distribution and consumption at both end generation and consumption with the help of smart technologies has been overviewed. Reviews on synchronization techniques for grid-connected converters have been presented in this paper. However, synchronization with PV system is big challenges in terms of reliability and power quality of supply. This paper presents a thorough overview of challenges and reliability prospects of smart grid synchronization with PV generating system. Different possible techniques have been discussed to mitigate these negative impacts so that PV synchronization with smart grid and various possible ways are reviewed for future work.
