These raw signals contain the unwanted stochastic noise from the surroundings, which affects the process and controller performance. These issues can be rectified by employing a suitable filtering technique, and the feedback loop performance can be improved significantly. Hence, this paper aims to propose set-point and noise filtering usage in the process control loop. The proposed filtering technique is compared with the existing conventional methods and implemented over the real-time pressure process plant for performance analysis.
