La International Company of México: el caso de la traza urbana del puerto de Ensenada y su puesta en valor como paisaje cultural

En este artículo se verá como en Baja California se dio un fenómeno urbanístico diferente al resto del país, ya que las concesiones territoriales de finales del siglo XIX y principios del siglo XX de los capitales ingleses y norteamericanos influyeron con las urbanizaciones que realizaron. Se pretende estudiar su arquitectura defendiendo la hipótesis de que su traza urbana contienen edificaciones de la etapa industrial, hoy de carácter patrimonial las cuales podrían ser consideradas un bien cultural para buscar líneas de intervención y oportunidades para su conservación. This article focuses on how in Baja California occurred an urban phenomenon different from the rest of the country, this happens because the territorial concessions of British and American capital in the late nineteenth century and early twentieth century. These capital influenced whit the cities they develop on this territory. We try to study the architecture, defending the hypothesis that now on the urban grid are industrial buildings that contain heritage which could be considered a cultural good to find lines of intervention and opportunities for conservation.
