Accurate modeling and simulation of the CSTR is crucial for efficient control and safety system design. In this paper, we present a novel hybrid dynamical model for the CSTR that supports accurate model-based design for CSTR safety and security systems. We first derive the system model then show how both the safety and security systems could be formally designed from the hybrid automaton.
