This system utilizes two separate blockchains to store the details of voters and their votes, which allows transparency in election results while protecting each voter’s privacy. The voter details are stored in one blockchain, providing greater security by requiring a PIN confirmation before the vote is counted. Additionally, votes are cast as transactions, creating a secondary blockchain that tracks the tallies of the votes. This allows for independent auditing of the ballot box and ensures that no votes were changed, removed, or added illegitimately. By moving the entire voting process online, the system reduces the effort required by staff members and allows voters to cast their votes from their own locations.
