摘要
英国PubMed Central (UKPMC)于2007年启动，最初是作为美国PubMed Central资源库的“镜像”发布的。我们用户的反馈和我们运行服务的经验促使英国生物医学和健康研究的主要资助者组成的组织委托开发一个新的阶段，以期建立生物医学和健康研究的首要资源。本文总结了UKPMC的发展历程，并讨论了新的web界面中的探索性搜索功能。
