摘要

本文针对高清电视视频信号，开发了一种可扩展的混合视频编解码器。帧内图像采用小波变换编码，帧间图像采用标准的MPEG-2编解码器编码。通过HDTV的可扩展编码，信道以各种速度和容量传输;此外，接收器可以在不同的分辨率下工作。帧图像的基础层和增强层采用相同的编解码器进行编码。对HDTV视频信号的可扩展混合编码与可扩展MPEG-2编解码器和可扩展DWT2编解码器进行了比较。实验结果表明，与其他两种编解码器相比，采用该编解码器可以提高帧内编码的质量。通过这种改进，提高了序列的质量。
