The flow rate control system based on PLC and additional peripheral components including Profibus adapter FPBA-01 and Profibus communication module CM572 DP has been developed and tested. To analyze the system, a series' of experiments was conducted. Experiments show that the designed system is quite flexible, easy to tune, and reliable. Advantages of the system lie in its high reliability of flow regulation and maintenance at both the static and the dynamic modes.
