The paper will analyze the impact of the Neretva flood from 2013 on the election cycle in Metković. Based on available data, it will also be investigated to what extent the natural disaster that struck Metković just before the 2013 elections affected voter turnout. Two hypotheses about turnout and impact on election results will be set to be tested by a chi-square test.
