Personal traits as antecedents towards intention to use: A perspective of a government EDMS adoption in Indonesia
This study examines factors that affect user adoption of an electronic document management system. The underlying research model was based on theories of technology acceptance model (TAM), with emphasis on individual traits as external variables, which include social influence, facilitating condition, self efficacy, and user training. The study took place in the Audit Board of the Republic of Indonesia, with a total of 106 respondents. Data were analyzed using co-variance based SEM aided by AMOS 21. The results yielded three variables, namely, social influence, user training and self efficacy having positive correlation towards perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use, which in turns affects intention to use.
