High-performance Silicon Photonic Filters based on High-order Adiabatic Elliptical-microrings
We realize ultra-compact silicon photonic filters with box-like responses by using high-order adiabatic elliptical-microrings, exhibiting extinction ratios higher than ~60 dB and a large free spectral range of ~37 nm.
