摘要

本文对GIS系统在智能终端PDA上的应用及其性能和存储机制进行了研究。研究如何在存储能力和速度有限的情况下,实时、可视化地组织和管理海量的GIS规则网格数据。在网格数据组织方面,提出了金字塔模型与一至四叉树索引相结合的数据管理模型;在数据动态显示方面,引入了层次动态简化方法(HDS),减少了不同分辨率下的数据量,进一步提高了PDA的视觉交互效率。在此基础上,提出了一种基于GPS/GIS集成的嵌入式Visual Basic开发的移动GIS解决方案,并在火控GIS中实现了该系统。
