In the current low-voltage meter reading system, most of the downlink channels use power line carrier and RS485 for communication. In the construction process over the years, the power line carrier technology has been updated rapidly, resulting in the coexistence of narrowband carrier, broadband carrier, high-speed carrier, and carrier wireless dual-mode technologies. In order to solve the problem of power line carrier interconnection and intercommunication of different technologies in the same station, this paper designs a low-voltage meter reading interconnection and intercommunication converter, which solves the problem of the communication module upgrade of station electric meters. And the converter can also support data collection after load switching across stations.
