Role of Information and Communication Technology in Rooms Divisions across Delhi NCR

The aim of the study explores the information technology is being used in the Rooms Division. The study looks at how hotels are using technology to improve hotel operations such as security, guest experience, and employee productivity. The ICT in the hotel industry has been a boon for both hoteliers and the customers. Hotel employees have been able to use technology to increase operational efficiency. The objective of study is the implementation and impact of ICT in rooms division across Delhi/ NCR and the benefits that have been realized such as fast electronic check-in/check-out, automate many processes including reservations, billing, and housekeeping. The methodology will be using questionnaire, survey and interview from employees and the population will be targeted 100 people for this research paper. The finding of the research paper is that the use of technology makes the operations easy and hotels provide apps to access the guest room, view their invoice, order online, web check in, web check out, wakeup call etc. The study found that hotels are using technology to improve efficiency.
