It is based on the generalized criterion and PSO-based method of its minimization. In order to prove high efficiency of the developed approach five problems were solved. They include a zero-overshoot requirement and a complex criterion to minimize. Obtained results were compared with those, which refer to well-known engineering tuning methods.
