Delivery of services is through Information and Communication Technology infrastructure. Shared services increases productivity through better customer experience and hence control the cost. Though, Shared services is not a new concept, it has not been exploited yet by the organizations of all industry sectors. This paper discusses possible pitfalls for the unsuccessful use of shared services and suggests the majors to overcome.
