This study proposed to present several concepts and examples to combine a pair of belief functions into a single one. To get enough conditions to change ignorance when independent pieces of evidence are combined with the help of diverse rules. We can evaluate combining rules as depressing or encouraging depending on the sign of the change in ignorance after they are applied.
