It performed by a developed computer program based on Simpson's numerical integral method. Spectral tissue Doppler echocardiograms were saved as a full color images and transferred to a personal computer for off-line analysis with use of the proposed method. There were significant differences at 95% confidence level between the spectral and color tissue Doppler displacements respectively. By means of Bland-Altman analysis; arithmetic means was 7.49 and 6.96 mm with SD mean differences of plusmn2.74 mm and plusmn2.26 mm in all base and mid evaluated segments.
