PV-Diesel Generator (DG) is the most prominent hybrid power systems employ in wide range of residential and office loads in India. However, without storage system, most of the PV generated power remains unused during low load demand scenarios resulting wastage. This paper focuses on the real-time performance of an official loadbased hybrid PV-DG system without storage. The analysis has been done in term of PV power generation, load power consumption, DG fuel consumption and cost, and power wastage by taking the generation and load demand of a day.
