Fuel Cell Electric Vehicles (FCEV) are a solution to this problem as they run basically on hydrogen which can be reused again and also it is environment friendly as it releases less smoke. This paper presents a brief overview of FCEV, their working principle, various topologies of FCEV, their energy management schemes and technical issues faced by them. These topologies depends on generation sources and storage elements. This article also discuss various electric motors used in FCEV.
