The proposed spatial multiplexing system offers equivalent bit error rate (BER) performance as compared to the conventional uncoded MIMO system while increasing data transmission rate by two folds. The optimum maximum likelihood (ML) detector is used in the proposed system. As ML detector offers high computational complexity, therefore we also present the linear zero forcing (ZF) and minimum mean square error (MMSE) detectors.
