Privacy Regulations-Aware Storage Service Selection in Multi-Cloud

Cloud computing involves the dispersal of data across several data centers which could be geographically distributed. The way in which cloud transcends data through national boundaries poses privacy and security threats. In this work, we propose a decision support framework to assist enterprises in cloud storage service selection, taking into consideration varied data regulations such as strict and sectorspecific data localization, and GDPR. We demonstrate the implications of data regulations and data distributions across multiple cloud service providers.
