VA loading of DVR can be regulated by maintaining an optimal angle $\\delta$ between source and load voltage. This paper introduces a novel algorithm based on variable phase angle control (PAC) approach that incorporates evolutionary optimization techniques to calculate this optimal angle. Population based evolutionary optimization techniques, PSO and JAYA are used for the same. Comparative analysis of the result is presented to show the effectiveness of proposed algorithm. 摘要
