The purpose of this paper is to study the impact of the stator mutual leakage inductance on the modeling of such machine in steady state and dynamic operation. This study incorporates two models. First, the effects of mutual leakage inductance between the two stator windings sets are simply neglected. Second, the mutual leakage inductance has been included.
