The impregnating compositions for increasing
the strength of concrete surfaces are
analyzed, standard methods for testing the
physical and mechanical properties of concrete
after its impregnation are considered. The
need for a uniform classifier and methodology
for assessing the quality of impregnation of
concrete with various reinforcing materials
has been pointed out.
