Laboratory Studies of Poroelastic Properties of the Mississippian Series Tournaisian Stage Limestones
In this paper, we have studied the poroelastic properties of the carbonate rock of the Mississippian serias Tournaisian Stage. We have estimated coefficient Bio from porosity using various predefined models. Based on the the experimental determination of the transmission times of a longitudinal and transverse ultrasonic wave we have constructed the rock physics models of the carbonates. We have compared obtained model with the results of laboratory investigations. As a result of the simulation of elastic properties and comparison with experimental data, we have concluded that the Gassmann model can be used for the carbonate rocks to construct a rock physic model. Outgoing the research results, we have shown paramount of Bio coefficient data of carbonates to obtain best fitted petrophysical model.
