KURULTAI ALASH IN THE NORTH KAZAKHSTAN REGION: AKKUSAK ASSEMBLY

Annotation. Introduction . The article describes the course of political events of the early twentieth century in the northern region of Kazakhstan . Purpose and objectives. On the basis of materials introduced into scientific circulation, archival documents and periodicals of the early twentieth century, the history of the emergence of the Alash movement and the entry of the national intelligentsia into the arena of the political struggle for independence, the direction of the petition, reflection of the events of the February and October revolutions in the region is presented on a scientific basis. Results. In the course of the study, the materials of the newspaper Zhas Azamat were studied. It was possible to obtain valuable information on the socio-political activities, the spiritual heritage of the Alash figures M. Dulatov, M. Zhumabayev, Zh. Tleulin, A. Turlybayev, E. Itbayev and others who operated in the Kyzylzhar region. Mass meetings were held with their participation. Information was found on deputies elected to the State Duma. Conclusions. Based on archival documents, the authors established that in 1918-1919, Soviet power fell in Kyzylzhar and the policy of the Alash-Orda government was carried out. For example, one of these meetings with the participation of representatives of the national intelligentsia was held in July 1918 in the Akkusak parish (now Zhambyl district of the region). For the first time, a large volume of materials about this historical event has been collected and studied.
