Students and teachers experiences in the completion of multidisciplinary Final Degree Projects
The inter-university competitions of robots are an opportunity to motivate students and teachers to carry out multidisciplinary projects, where participation of people with training and experience in different branches of Knowledge improves the acquisition of professional skills and cross-cutting of all the students involved. In addition, this collaboration helps the teachers involved to consider modifications in the subjects which they teach to find a better relationship between them within the curricula. This work presents the main experiences, both of the students and teachers, carrying out the design and construction of a robot to participate in an international competition. In addition, this work also shows how this collaboration has helped to students in their Final Degree Projects completion, which has also established a solid collaboration among teachers involved.
