A proactive planning methodology can use information about real time changes in input data used for planning and determine a revised plan and line control. The proposed proactive procedure in this paper demonstrates a way to acquire data from an existing manufacturing process, which will be used to reach a production plan based on a combination of a simulation model and data acquired from MES.
