Performance Analysis of Different Techniques of Traffic Control System

Due to the increases in the number of vehicles on the roads, traffic congestion turns out to be key crisis now days. In current scenario we can’t say that traffic jam is occurring mainly in urban areas, in rural area also traffic jams are increasing. These traffic jams are behind problem like air pollution, noise pollution or delay in time. These traffic jams can’t be resolve by only deploying traffic lights in all cities because these lights have fixed interval of time between red and green light. Keeping this in mind many attempts were done to change time interval according to the density of vehicles on the road. In this paper we had summarize different techniques for traffic management and control system that can used for improvement of current system.
