In current scenario we can’t say that traffic jam is occurring mainly in urban areas, in rural area also traffic jams are increasing. These traffic jams are behind problem like air pollution, noise pollution or delay in time. These traffic jams can’t be resolve by only deploying traffic lights in all cities because these lights have fixed interval of time between red and green light. Keeping this in mind many attempts were done to change time interval according to the density of vehicles on the road.
