Firstly, the frame synchronization algorithm based on the delayed autocorrelation of the preamble is used to detect the arrival of a frame of data. Then, the symbol synchronization algorithm based on the preamble and cross-correlation with the local sequence is employed to find out the peak value. Finally, the start time of valid data can be accurately determined by the above method. According to the proposed algorithm, the hardware implementation scheme of OFDM timing synchronization is designed. Verilog programming language is applied to simulate and verify in Modelsim.
