Results include a model which simulates the growth of a forest in a particular time dependent environment and an implementation of that model using a digital computer and assumed data. At present the model is somewhat restricted in level of detail and range of applicability. It is, however, believed to be a pioneer in plant sciences, and further study will surely suggest directions for refinement in level of detail. The range of applicability is constrained by factors not modeled to a young, growing forest of natural occurrence in a particular environment.
