A Psychoacoustic auditory model is applied to shape and insert the watermark waveform into the MP3 file. The strength of frequency hopping spread spectrum and multiple frequency-shift keying modulation is used to generate a robust digital watermark. Watermark recovery is performed in the absence of the original file.
