Ultra-Compact Silicon Modulator for 124 GBaud Coherent Optical Links
We present a microring-assisted Mach-Zehnder modulator with a bandwidth beyond 67 GHz (90+ GHz ex-trapolated) and a 0.03 mm2 footprint. We achieved 124 GBaud coherent transmission with linear signal processing.
