摘要

提出了一种基于独立分量分析和小波变换的人脸识别方法。首先用小波变换将图像分解成不同频率的子带,然后在小波子带上应用ICA得到包含原始图像主要信息的独立向量,最后利用这些基向量组成的子空间实现人脸识别。我们将我们的方法与ICA和WT两种人脸识别算法进行了比较。在实验中,使用最近邻分类器从ORL人脸数据库中识别不同的人脸。实验结果表明,该方法有效地提高了图像的识别率,准确率最高可达92%。
