This feature leads to using a single dc source. Additionally, the proposed Multilevel Inverter (MLI) benefits from the common ground feature. The leakage current is eliminated fully in this structure which is of great importance in transformer-less systems. The proposed MLI is described comprehensively. The operational modes are discussed.
