Short-circuit thermally stimulated currents in polystyrene-poly methyl methacrylate blends
Investigations of short-circuit thermally stimulated depolarization currents have been made on 20- mu m-thick, polystyrene-polymethyl-methacrylate (PS/PMMA) blends containing different weight percentages of PMMA. The observed currents decrease for higher values of the forming field and temperature and eventually become anomalous. These characteristics are considered to be due to the screening effect of the space charge formed near the electrodes. The TSDC (thermally stimulated depolarization current) characteristic have been found to be sensitive to blend composition.<>
