The research was studied mainly from the aspects of the structure of the design, data source management and the expression design, etc. Characteristics and some application ranges about the GIS-EBook were also listed. A practical system which was an atlas, was developed in the paper. 摘要
分析了传统互联网地理信息系统中电子地图的表达方式，介绍了与基于flex的RIA (Rich Internet Application)集成的地理信息系统的相关信息。此外，还讨论了一种新的GIS电子地图表达方式。将图书页面模式应用到Internet GIS中，显示当前多源、多类型的电子地图。本研究主要从设计的结构、数据源管理和表达设计等方面进行研究。并列举了GIS-EBook的特点和一些应用范围。本文开发了一个实用的地图集系统。实验结果验证了该方法的可行性和正确性。
