The study aimed to determine the effectiveness of psychoeducation interventions on the quality of life of patients with depression . Design: A quasi-experimental research design was used. Subjects and method : the studied sample include 70 patients with depression. Tools : Included structured interview questionnaire, Beck depression inventory scale, Quality of Life Scale, and Impairment function scale. Results : There was a highly statistically significant difference in the quality of life and function impairment Pre, Post, and Follow up program regarding the studied group, and there was no statistically significant difference regarding the control group in pre and follow-up for the quality of life and function impairment. Conclusion: The psychoeducation program was effective to improve the psychosocial functioning and quality of life of depressed patients.
