The automatic calculation of the settings based on the self-describing file is adopted to complete the automatic matching and interaction between the setting calculation system and each setting value of the field relay protection device, the relay protection device can automatically generate a setting file template, then upload it to the setting computing system through the relay protection technical support system. The traversal matching method with improved editing distance is used to achieve automatic and accurate matching of fixed value items. The complete set value generated by the setting calculation is loaded into the setting template file to form a new setting file. After receiving the setting file from the setting calculation system, the protection device first verifies the data fingerprint of the setting file and completes the automatic setting after ensuring the accuracy of the setting file.
